Announcing the Release of Align Cloud
New Web Interface Reaches More Users, Improves Performance and Ease of Use.
DENVER (March 15, 2022) ― Align Technologies (formerly ToolWatch), a leading provider of construction operations and mobile safety management solutions, announces the expansion of its flagship software platform to offer a fully web-based user experience. This development makes the full Align platform accessible from any device, includes a redesigned user interface, and will support faster and more innovative improvements in the future.
Jay Martin, CEO of Align, said, “Align is committed to significant new investment in our industry-leading platform to support faster innovation and make the user experience even more intuitive and comprehensive. Our customers will find Align's web-based interface is faster, easier to use, and simpler to maintain, and it will enable us to develop and deploy exciting new features with shorter lead times.”
Currently available via desktop app, mobile app, and web login, the Align platform now provides function-specific portals for warehouse, field, and back office employees. The Align web portals also feature new, consumer-like interface designs as well as in-product support for Spanish language in addition to English, making the product easier to use by a broader set of users.
The web-based portal expansion comes weeks after Align acquired Safety Reports, Inc., a mobile safety management platform, which extended the company's reach to include environmental health and safety, risk management, and compliance reporting. These investments in Align's platform are part of the company's goal to offer the most robust operations management solution to meet the evolving needs and demands of the industries they serve.
Don Kafka, Align founder, noted, “Align was created 30 years ago, and from day one we have made it our business to keep ahead of the construction industry's ever-evolving needs. We have an aggressive innovation schedule planned for 2022, and we believe moving the Align suite to a fully web-based platform will go a long way to helping streamline construction operations from field to warehouse to back office and improve our customers' bottom lines. We believe it will be the difference between night and day.”
The web platform is accessible on any device with a web browser. Align's mobile apps for warehouse and field personnel will remain available to continue to provide scanning and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) capabilities that are essential for field and warehouse operations.
